I would have no hesitation in recommending Selfit kitchens.

It's easy to write a review saying how pleased you are with quality, value and service immediately after buying something, but when you have lived with it for a while sometimes the initial high wears off, not so with my Chippendale kitchen.

Despite initial reservations about buying on line the price from Selffit was much much better than I could get despite wearing out several pairs of shoes comparing the so called mega discounted kitchens at the usual retailers.

The delivery was quick, complete & undamaged, the only problem was non availability of my chosen handles, but the second choice were if anything better and delivery was again very quick.

As I fitted the kitchen over several months !! I discovered a drawer clip was missing on the last cabinet, Andy sorted it out straight away despite several months having passed.

The finished kitchen has been in use for several months, the quality is excellent, and my wife is delighed with it.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Selfit kitchens.

We are delighted with our new Chippendale kichen. Andy was extremely helpful throughout the planning and ordering process offering advice and ensuring we received all the parts. Nothing was missing and nothing was damaged (plus lots of extra bits). I assembled all the units from flat pack then installed them into the kitchen. Very few hitches and the finished product is superb. The quality of the units, drawers and cupboards is right up there with the best bespoke kitchens you pay 3 or 4 times more for. I still smile every time I enter our new kitchen and we saved a fortune as well. I would recommend Andy and Chippendale kitchens to anyone thinking of doing it yourself. The only tradesmen I needed was a plasterer, a joiner to make a neat job of the worktops and a gas fitter to install the hob. So thanks Andy for a great kitchen and a superb service.

Based on my experience I would unhesitatingly recommend Selffit Kitchens. My prime concern was to acquire quality, and I was also nervous to be dealing on the web with an unseen supplier buying a product I could not check beforehand. Andy Proctor was easy to talk to, always either on hand or would respond quickly to messages. The quality of the kitchen is superb, far better than most of the DIY stores, and extremely well priced. The cabinets are available in a wide range of sizes and configurations. Delivery was exactly as promised. A damaged panel on delivery was replaced immediately and without quibble.

The cabinets were simple to fit, and now 6 months on I have every expectation that they will also be very durable. We are very pleased and you can buy with confidence from this supplier.

I found Selffit Chippendale Kitchens had a very good range of products and were certainly able to fulfil my requirements. From postage of the catalogue down to the delivery driver I experienced a very professional and efficient service that was also an economical solution for me the customer. The Kitchen fitter I used made some encouraging comments on the extremely high quality components and how easy he found the installation.

I received all the right bits and generous extra supplies...

A new house, loads of stuff to store and a big utility room - clearly we needed kitchen units, but minus state-of-the-art prices and without paying someone to fit them. I'd rigged a couple of kitchen cupboards successfully before, so started looking for suppliers. The big stores like Screwfix and B&Q seemed to offer lots of styles but relatively limited ranges, and it was quite hard to cost it all with separate prices for cabinets, doors etc.

Selffit turned up by Googling "Self fit kitchen", so it's a good company name. I liked the Chippendale ranges they offered: a good variety of styles, a big choice of cabinets for our awkward corners, and an excellent price list with transparent costings and technical detail that made planning the project easy.

Thus informed I e-mailed Andy that evening, and he obviously works hard because he got back to me the same day. He quickly gave me a quote, got the stuff ordered next day and it was delivered a fortnight from my first contact. Andy was not fazed by my ordering extra doors and bits for a coat cupboard I designed, and stuck by his quote even when Chippendales told him these parts didn't qualify for discount - I guess he won't let that happen again!

People seem to expect errors in their orders, but I received all the right bits and generous extra supplies of hardware in case of breakages, etc. The instructions were reasonably clear, though it was helpful to read a couple of overviews on the web as it's easy to miss something out and have to redo it. The only expensive tool I'd regard as essential was a mitre saw for cornices and plinths, though doing worktops for a kitchen without a router would probably be a nightmare. I had the whole thing done in 6 days, barring a worktop I ordered locally to match an existing one. And very nice it looks too.

I'd just like to say how pleased my wife and I are with our Chippendale kitchen. The quality is excellent and the choice of units sizes and finishes seems to be wider than any other kitchens we looked at. The price is competitive too.

I'd also like to thank you personally for all the help you gave me sorting out exactly what we needed to order. Nothing seems to be too much trouble. I'd recommend Chippendale kitchens and Selffit to anyone.
